Description
Black Elderberry (Sambucus canadensis): A fast-growing native shrub with fragrant summer flower umbels and abundant dark, antioxidant-rich berries. Supports pollinators and wildlife, thrives in a wide range of soils, including wet ground, and is valuable for food forests, herb gardens, and naturalized plantings.
Cold stratification instructions:
Stratify seeds for 60–90 days.
Soak seeds 24 hours, then mix with moist medium and refrigerate in a sealed bag or container.
After stratification, sow indoors or direct sow in a sunny to partly shaded site with consistently moist soil.
Each pack contains 25 seeds.
